Printed maps

Tap a pin. Open the place.

Each push pin carries an NFC tag and a printed QR code. Tap the pin, and the photos and videos from that place open on your phone.

How it works

Brass map pin with a printed code, held above a paper map on a wooden tablePerson tapping a map pin with a phone so the photos from that place open

01

A map arrives

The pins are already in the sheet. Each one has a tag you can tap, and a QR code if the phone prefers a camera.

02

Name the place

The first tap asks for your email, then a name. Grand Canyon 2024 is enough.

03

Leave the photos there

From this phone, including iCloud, or from Google Photos. The next tap opens the same gallery.

Each pin holds 25 photos. A clip can be 60 seconds, and the pin keeps 120 seconds of video altogether.

Choose a map

Design a custom map, with a proof before we print.

Three framed panels of a world map on a white wall, with pins across the continents

Atlas of Memories

Oversized

36 × 48 and 40 × 60. One framed sheet, for a wall with the room for it. The price is confirmed on the proof.

Three panels

Split panel

54 × 36, side by side. A world map with space between the oceans. The same line as the large framed sheets.

The world map and a custom size both offer these.

Gifts

In the box, or in a letter.

Ship the map to yourself and hand it over with the card. Or send a certificate. They open it, make a free account, and say where it should go.

Open a pin

Type the code under the QR sticker. A phone that reads the pin can skip this.

Questions

What arrives in the box?

A printed map with the pins already in the sheet. Each pin has an NFC tag and a QR sticker. Tap the pin, and the photos and videos from that place open on your phone.

How does a pin open?

Hold a phone to the pin, or scan the QR sticker. The first time asks for an email, then a name for the place. The next tap opens the same gallery.

Can I give a map as a gift?

Yes. Ship it to yourself and hand it over with the card in the box. Or send a certificate. The recipient creates a free account, and the map moves to them. They enter the shipping address when the gift is digital.

How long do the photos stay?

Photos stay for as long as we operate, with photo export. Download all my photos from your maps page. Clips are included in that file.

What happens if I reset a gallery link?

Resetting a gallery link keeps the pin tag address the same and issues a new shared link. Old shared links stop opening the gallery. The pin itself keeps working. The NFC tag and the QR sticker are not rewritten.

Who owns the photos?

The person who opens the card. The buyer is not the owner. A gallery stays private unless that person turns sharing on.
